Finding your ring size at home

Finding your ring size at home

The easiest way to find your size is to try rings on in a boutique. If that is not possible, there are two reliable methods at home.

Method 1: a ring that fits

Take a ring that fits the finger you want to wear the new ring on. Measure the inside diameter, from edge to edge, in millimetres. Find the closest diameter in the table on our Sizing page.

Method 2: a strip of paper

  1. Cut a thin strip of paper, about 5 mm wide.
  2. Wrap it around the base of your finger, snug but not tight.
  3. Mark where the paper overlaps and measure the length: that is the circumference.
  4. Make sure the paper slides over your knuckle; if it does not, use the knuckle measurement.

When to measure

Fingers are smaller in the morning and in the cold. Measure at the end of the day at room temperature, and measure twice.

Between two sizes?

For slim bands, choose the smaller size. For wide bands like the Dome Ring and the Oval Signet Ring, choose the larger one.
